Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic, progressive, inflammatory, autoimmune disease of the joints and surrounding tissues.

It is associated with intense pain, irreversible joint destruction and systemic complications.

The causes of Rheumatoid Arthritis are unknown, however Roche has achieved an in-depth understanding of the molecular pathways that are involved in the inflammation process.

We have used this understanding to develop novel therapies and diagnostics that enable treatments to be precisely targeted to patients needs.
